Countryside Scene

I drove over to visit my younger daughter today.  For once I was early as I headed there straight from a bit of private tuition so took a few minutes to stop and photograph the countryside.  The clouds were interesting and the light was gorgeous.  I only had my compact camera with me and the sun was very strong, but it's done a reasonable job.  The extra shows a freshly ploughed field with all the textures ready for next year's crops.

We were able to have a leisurely lunch together and I got to see the grandchildren for a little while too before heading home.  I have been catching up with the ironing this evening and watching a bit of TV too,
