Day 1 - Delhi

So we arrived very tired after travelling through the night. I was expecting the immigration to be a long wait but we sailed through and by the time we got through the bags we're coming off.

We were then met by our tour guide who took us to our lovely hotel the journey there was rather scary, there driving is something else! Saw a few cows on the road as well as you do.

We arrived at our hotel and it's very colonial style really nice and even has a pool which is didn't expect being in the middle of Delhi.

Once checked in we decided to wander down to the area in my photo, here you find lots of restaurants and bars many of them English chains such as Nando's, pizza express and Pizza Hut to name a few. We were typical brits abroad and had a beer in an Irish bar and a Pizza from Pizza Hut to take away as we were exhausted! Promise tomorrow we will be more cultured.
