The old and the new

Ispentt last night in Auckland so I could attend a function today. There is so much construction and building going on in the city that a number of bus stops have been shifted to a different part of town and my bus this afternoon left not far from this very old block of shops. They have been in various states of disrepair for as long as I remember but at the moment are nearly all food shops. There are so many new buildings going up around the city,for the mainpart dull and uninspiring. I wonder how long this old block will remain and what will replace it. I used to know the city well but not any more. That's okay.
