November Cactus

Today was a lovely day. Partly it was the weather, with only a slight wind and a sun with some warmth in it, and a temperature of +5°. And partly it was that we are both feeling stronger after nearly 20 days of illness and recovery. We took a longer walk today, involving some hills, and both arrived home feeling OK.
I went out and did some work clearing up the garden, moving piles of earth, sawing up firewood, and putting tables away. This carried on until about 16:30, by which time it was completely dark!
Despite all this outdoor action it was actually this interior shot, the first photo taken this morning, that seemed to my best photo today. I love the flowers on these cactii, they are so over the top, and they suit the strong sunlight and dark shadows produced by the morning sun.
