Mount Sugarloaf eruption devastates Abergavenny
It was a surprise the morning to discover that the Sugarloaf is an active volcano - in Wales, for Heaven's sake! Luckily it seems it was all smoke and ashes, no lava streams and raining magma, because there don't seem to be any discernable consequences.
Stop press: Cath has pointed out to me that this is Mount Skirrid, not Mount Sugarloaf. Just fancy, two active volcanos threatening Abergavenny!
