Passed Its Best

The pumpkin has been keeping watch over the past few days. But when I checked it today I realised it was going mouldy. So it's been chucked out.
Sadly something else was past it's best this morning. Our little bantam died. She has been bullied by the other hens for some time despite our efforts to stop them. I'm not quite sure why she died. I suspect she has been very weak and finally pushed out of the nest box and died in the cold. I just can't like the remaining 3 hens now.
