No sign of any princesses

Mono Monday: Frogs Eye View

This month the themes for the Mono Monday challenge are being set for us by Marlieske.  So it was for her that I braved the frosty start this morning to get down to the waterline for this shot of the pond.  


We do have frogs occasionally, but there was no sign of any this morning - I suspect that it was too cold for them to be out and about first thing.  They were still probably doing whatever it is that frog's do first thing - looking for princesses or sleeping off a wild night of slug hunting?
