Party bag cake

Nursery, a nap, and a bit of cake from yesterday's party bag.

Then MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr went swimming. We had a great time and CyclopsJnr recognised a little girl that he had befriended last week! They did some jumping in together.

At some point in our session CyclopsJnr's splashing turned into recognisable diving so I started teaching him a bit of technique. Then the lifeguard came over:
LG: There's no diving in the shallow end.
Me: Oh OK. 
LG: It is too shallow to dive.
Me: But it is deeper than he is.
LG: Well if I let him do it everyone will want to.
Me: Seriously? He's 3.
LG: You'll have to take him in the deep end.
Me: Is that OK? He can't swim.
LG: He can dive but he can't swim? Oh well no. No none swimmers allowed in the deep end.
Me: So he can't dive anywhere in this pool?
LG: No.
Me: So how am I supposed to teach him to dive?
LG:  ...?...  
LG: Really good diving there though, buddy!
