Voyage of a Beagle & Lab

Coco

I really thought Coco was in the huff about something this morning when I found her pressed against the door and then I realised that she was doing her best to enjoy the few rays of sun that were coming into the kitchen - she is an unbelievable sun worshipper, must be Uncle L's influence!

Good start to my day at work - this week was singing with the toddlers and we had treated ourselves to a parachute (a huge nylon circle with hands, shuggled and raised up and down) which we used with the last few songs. It was a tremendous hit and may even have been enjoyed by the adults even more than the children. A couple of the little girls just found it fantastically funny and giggled uncontrollably and they all enjoyed running under it at the end. The gods of work obviously thought I'd had far to much fun and decided to have some fun with me, I managed to jam up the laminator. Of course a male colleague came by and thought he could force it open but that didn't work and he moved on and I read the Problem Solving Instructions - all that was required was patience, an inbuilt safety feature meant it would not open while still warm - 45 minutes later it popped open and the jam was cleared. Initial panic was for nothing - read the instructions and have patience!

Friday night, weekend begins - wine poured!
