The Footpath
I've often strived to get good shots of contrasty shots along this winding footpath, known locally as the 'Broken Bridges'.
Running alongside the River Nadder, it has supremely lush ground grasses, that contrast with young, gnarled willows with fresh green foliage. The sun is lower at this time of year, reaching deeper. Colour was OK, monochrome I wanted to be more timeless, more Ansell Adams, than National Trust.
A beautiful day, which I had four or five potentials lined up.
