Golden sunset at Ariki

Another day in which there were almost no pauses. Lunch was eaten while writing notes. Coffee was drunk while writing a paper for the Director; about a proposed pilot study linking Police, Ambulance and our staff as a first response service which if it is as successful as the Birmingham Street Triage programme, should improve outcomes and reduce the use of ED and the inpatient unit. There is still a possibility that the new Government may not want to continue with proposals initiated by the previous Government. That would be sad.

S has gone to her book club meeting tonight. I cooked myself a simple meal, drank a little Italian red wine, and took some photos of the setting sun.
