Rose Cake

I told the school I wasn’t available this week as I had a visitor, cake order, lots of appointments and a party to organise! Of course I didn’t tell them all that .... but this is the benefit of being part time :).

Been working on this all day. The colours were definitely more pink before it went into the fridge. More a dusty pink now! I haven’t made buttercream roses for years and was quite rusty, so they’re not the best. Really should have practiced a bit!

And oh, our main fridge is on the blink, Martin had to go buy a new one as I was knee deep in cake and otherwise predisposed.

All sorted and new fridge arriving Saturday, thank goodness.
