Our weekend 'hood' has a cool little Japanese tea house.
There's coffee and pastries with a japanese twist, matcha popcorn on offer and  a very simple tea ceremony and a bowl of ceremonial matcha.

100 prongs of the  'chasen' whisk the matcha until a froth appears and then... delicious, sipped with brekkie toast, butter and orange yuzu marmalade
