Larches about to Weather a Storm

There was a break in the weather for a couple of hours after noon so the Nant Valley seemed like a possible place to get up in the snow. Boy was it worth it, The trees were plastered, some looking particularly beautiful against the blue sky (see extra and, if you want more, go to https://www.flickr.com/photos/hilarysview/?). But it was when I turned round to go back down that I saw these larch trees, hanging onto the edge of a cliff, against the next lot of cloud coming in. I wonder if they will last the winter, it looks precarious up there.

Thanks so much for placing the farm in the snow, on the front Popular page. You really do spoil me!
