Featheweight

Today we had planned to take the bus into Bristol and go to the Aquarium for KG's birthday outing.  The weather was so dire that we decided the we did not want to wander around in the rain.  We deliberated quite a while as to what to do.  In the end we went to Highfield Garden Centre and spent some time looking around the Christmas displays.  We resisted all except for the feathers which KG wanted for one of his creative ideas.  (used in my blip today).  From there we went to Fromebridge Mill for. a carvery and very nice it was too.
When we got home we found a card from the police enquiring whether we have CCTV.  It turned out the house opposite was burgled yesterday.

After some more wondering what to do KG decided that he was quite happy to have a quiet afternoon and settled for watching the first part of the Hunger Games.  
Then take the rubbish down and as I took the food waste bag out of the container it burst all over the kitchen floor.  Grr.
