Salvage

In Alloa town centre today meeting a friend for coffee, I walk past this intriguing artwork regularly without knowing what it is.  A bit of research of the council website suggests that it is a rivetted copper kettle salvaged from the old Maclay's Thistle Brewery.  The Brewery no longer trades but remnants of its structure still exist within "The Old Brewery" pub in Alloa.  
It must have been quite a sight when the copper was new and gleaming :-)
