A green glow
lol, not a great shot but it's something that happened during my day/night and seeing as my other photos were not very exciting I give you a photo of David looking at the glow of the Aurora in the sky. The hill blocks most of it and I've seen some great photos from the other side of the Firth looking cross. It was fun though and I did see some lines of light. It was clear and cold and I could hear the owls in the distance.
We caught up with Richard and found out about his trip. Unfortunately the price of everything in Iceland has rocketed so an expensive trip. He enjoyed it though which is the main thing. He also enjoyed a fry up and his first cup of tea for a week ( coffee was cheaper and there was no kettle in his room ).
Brownies was fun. We made rainbow promise mobiles and sent an invitation for a Poppy Scotland Tea and toast event we are holding. The girls wrote their addresses on the envelope, hopefully the Postman will be able to work out their spelling etc, most knew their postcode so they should get there. We then walked down to the postbox, in the dark,to post them. One of the girls commented on the stars, just wished we'd looked abit harder as the best of the Aurora was probably happening then.
Just having a hot chocolate now and then off to bed.
