Not quite a full moon

There was an aurora amber alert earlier this evening, then a red alert, but I didn't spot anything in the sky.  However I was inside most of the evening at the first judged competition for the camera club I joined  earlier this year.  My first baptism of the criticism, but I thought what they said was very fair.  Anyway I was delighted to get the highest mark for a beginner and overall highest beginner.  This great photo did it for me
