Club Studio Night

After a thoroughly mundane but frustrating day at work for me (Chris), a good evening at the camera club. It was a practical night of studio shooting lead by one of our members known for her creative portraiture. After a short intro, all members were invited to try their hand on one of five different lighting setups, each with an experienced club member on hand to guide. We had three hired models plus members of the club (especially the committee) were invited to act as the models.

It was a great evening, many members found themselves shooting in manual for the first time and there was lots of chat, interaction and plenty of shots taken. I spent a lot of time talking and not very much time shooting but managed to grab a few photos along the way.
