Fever

When I picked Olivier from daycare, he was a bit whiny and pale. I thought: hey, he might be getting sick. But then he kept talking and asking questions, so all was good. Until he plopped on the couch and wouldn’t move or eat. By then, he had a fever of 39, and he was feeling miserable. He had a bath, some meds, and then more meds because it wasn’t coming down.

The thing with kids is that they look like they are very sick one minute, and then they jump around as soon as the fever is down!
