Happiness is ... ice cream

We’ve had a difficult couple of weeks. My mother has Alzheimer’s and is in care but was hospitalised with a chest infection. After a few days she got home only to have a bad fall and land back up in hospital in A& E. She is now frailer and seems more confused.
Hopefully she’ll get over this and be back to her happy self soon.
Was nice yesterday to go for ice cream with my nephew. Children are a great tonic.
