Despite the fact he has no neck, he is a giraffe.  

Well, I dropped my car off at the second mechanic today for its second opinion.  The first opinion was that it was likely to blow up, seize up, catch on fire or fall apart at any moment.  As risky as that sounded, I still ran some errands, went to the car wash (I hate to take a dirty car in for service) and went to the market, all without incident.  So, now I'm housebound for a few days until the verdict (estimate) comes back and I recover from that shock.   Ollie was the only thing handy and willing to sit for a portrait.  He's very accommodating.
