November Moon at the Villa....

The full moon had gone by, I missed it in my moving haze of exhaustion.  But...  last night, as I had the girls out for the last time before bed, I saw the moon coming up to the east-southeast of the backdoor.  
    In the extra, you will see the light of the moon I saw as it came through a break in the branches.  It was an eerie light.  I could imagine a witches broom flying by.  (too tired?)  I ran inside to get the Nikon.  The extra is severely cropped to enlarge the photo as much as I could.
    In order to get the moon, I had to climb a fence, slide down a hill (in slippers) to get a clear shot of the moon.   It was interesting to me that the moon is waning at the top, not the side.  That is not a rotated shot.  Since I am a new place, peeking through huge trees, and experimenting with angles and locations,I wonder if  that is why the moon looks so different.
