Nice Oak Tree

The Husband and I both love this tree. It is lucky enough to have been sitting out by itself in this field for many many years, not being crowded and squeezed as it would have been in the woods. So it has a huge, wide, round spread. It's fun to watch it change through the seasons when we go on our regular walk. We have an oak right next to our house that is probably a similar age - could be as old as 300 years one tree man once told us! - but it doesn't have the great shape of this one. And it's not as healthy, sad to say. We're hoping our oak will outlast us, at least! This one certainly will.
