Flat out!
Well I have to say that last night's meal at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie was one of the best I've ever had. What a difference it was being able to relax and enjoy the whole experience, made extra special by the unobtrusive attentiveness and humour of the waiting staff. Absolutely superb.
Busy day for some people in the household today but not me.
Alan was up, dressed, had lunch then off he went with Ashleigh and Christine to Edinburgh Zoo. They had a brilliant time.
David took Lola to the park this morning then back in time for our friend Shona to come round for more training. Most of the things she's got us working on (loose lead walking /recall / waiting) are coming on fine but other aspects i.e. jumping up and mouthing are taking a bit longer. She's also shown signs of guarding space and some toys with a lip curl and growl and although that is actually improving, it was good to talk to Shona about it today and decide on strategies to stop it.
This afternoon David and Rosie were interviewing candidates for the role of Alan's Support worker. To our relief we think we have found a fantastic candidate. Watch this space.
I had to stay home to look after Lola. Thankfully after her morning walk she was shattered and this was her position for most of the afternoon. I planned to get on with my Christmas gift planning and hopefully shopping but after about five minutes I fell into as deep a snooze as Lola. What a pair!
Now dinner to make and then an attempt to set up a basic natural light studio for my photography course. All the composite parts have arrived so don't have an excuse not to get it done!
