Sizzling Parker's

The first time I ever went to the Minx's house, I drove past the Parker's Arms, which I liked immediately for both its apostrophe and the fact it looked like a good, old-fashioned pub, i.e. one that had survived the 'upgrades' and reforms of the nineties and noughties. 

Earlier this year, the Minx, Simon, and I went for a drink at the Parker's and, tbh, it wasn't great, although it was deffo an experience. Today, I saw that they appear to be branching out to Indian Food. Despite some scurrilous comments on the 'Chorley Then And Now' FaceBook page, I am optimistic about this. I'll be there when they open!
