How berry nice!

I didn't have to move off my couch this morning to catch this robin feeding on the cotoneaster berries outside my living room window. He was shortly followed by a male blackbird ( see extra) who is a much more common visitor to that feast.
We have a variety of berry bearing bushes and trees in our garden and it is always a delight to see the birds happily feasting on them. Last winter we were lucky enough to get our first ever waxwings, so I hope they return over the next few months.
