So how come that whilst my daughter gets to blip lovely old churches in Holland the best view I can find is from the top floor of Ikea? I must be doing something wrong!

There was a real chill in the air this morning and I wasn't convinced that the weather forecasters had got it right, but then at about 1130 the clouds cleared, the sun shone and the temperature rose. So before I went to Southampton I had a lovely long bike ride through the forest - the only thing was there was a big Wiggle bike event going on and they were all going in the opposite direction which left me feeling a bit of a muppet! I haven't been brave enough to sign up for a sportive yet but they look like fun, so maybe next time!
