The Kelpies

sculptures by Andy Scott, which I love. Kelpies are from Gaelic culture, the water horses that lived in lochs or rivers that would drag down innocent passers by. If you could take the bridle off a kelpie you would possess magic powers.
The extra is a Magpie in the nose of the  Kelpie called Baron. Lots of birdlife in the area on the river and canal, Kestrels, Buzzards, Wagtails, Geese, Whooper Swans, Redshanks and various duck.
