Flower Friday: Remembrance

I decided for this week's Flower Friday that I'd photograph my poppy on the lawn. It's already just beginning to get hidden in the grass. Whatever our views on the rights and wrongs of armed conflict, this weekend we  need to make sure that we don't allow ourselves to hide the memories of those who gave their lives or their well-being to help to maintain our freedom and comfort.
