Cadiz
Late morning trip to an amazing beautiful city called Cadiz. Approx 30 minute drive from the villa.
A good look round the old city with two huge cruise liners in port as we pulled into park in the underground parking. A great piece of engineering in itself & it's only a car park.
Pic is of a huge Cathedral that you can visit & go up the bell towers to get stunning views.
P&O's Oriana & Cunard's Queen Elizabeth both towered over the port & looked stunning in the midday sun.
Very windy day by the coast with big chilly blasts around the small winding streets where at one point we felt like we were back in the UK needing big coats instead of shorts & thin hoodies. Still 19 to 22 degrees in the sun though.
Sheltered for lunch in a beautiful tapas restaurant. Menu was interesting, maybe a little tricky for Mark's tastes. I had anchovies & bruschetta with oil & tomatoes with two gorgeous Scallops slightly battered & fried with oil & salad dressing.
Curry night tonight in local town Chiclana.
I don't want this holiday to end. Everyday is different, the weather, food & of course the company has been amazing.
Bathroom being finished today & confirmation from Craig last night it looks good.
Guess what Mondays blip is going to be?
Let the weekend at Pago del Humo commence.
BTW this place can be rented during May to October approximately. Message me for details.
Thank you Gents for another wonderful day xxx
