Lovely to look at but very difficult to handle with the short branches being covered with very sharp thorns which will pierce the toughest of gloves.

A cold day with spells of sunshine and some rain. L and I managed a walk in Rouken Glen Park but underfoot conditions down by the Auldhouse Burn were exceedingly muddy.
