Bad news- she didn't get the part of Wendy.
Good news- she in fact got Peter Pan!!!! She's CHUFFED TO BITS!

Well done BabyGirl. I'm a little bit extra proud of her because some of her classmates had told her she wasn't good enough and wouldn't get a part she wanted. So she went out, did her best and was fabulous. A bonus lesson in why she shouldn't let anyone tell her she's not good enough.

Now to find time to learn her "thousands and thousands of lines" as she describes it.... and make the costume she declared to her teacher that I would make. She went the whole way home from school with a massive grin.

She had a really good day at school - today was Enterprise Day. Y3 had a photo journalist from the city paper come in for the day, showing his work, letting them try his cameras and then they designed their own front page spreads.
