Remains of the day....flower Friday

These are the remains of a mum from last week's bouquet...kind of an emergency blip as we've been gone all day.

We had new tires put on the car, and since we had to wait, we spent the time at the theater....it was lovely!!   Wide cushiony seats that reclined and a fascinating take on Agatha Christy's "Murder on the Orient Express".  Even though I knew the story, the treatment of it by Kenneth Branagh was spectacular, especially the photography!  Star-studded, and even if he took quite a few liberties with Hercule Poirot, totally entertaining.
