Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

I was up early for the Tesco delivery which meant I cooked breakfasts for everyone before swimming lessons. We went through the trauma of the lost car key which continued AFTER swimming lessons. The key was eventually found a little sticky on the kitchen floor under a chair. We suspect Red was involved somewhere...

Matthew & Emily turned up so the children did their thing while Ben and I got on with shovelling wood chips. I got fed up after an hour so made lunch - exchanging an Ally for an Emily.

As we were preparing to start shovelling, Tim rang and offered to take the boys, Bella and Ben out on their boat for the afternoon. Which they did and had a brilliant time.

Meanwhile the girls went back to Emily's leaving Red and I to meet ClareClare at the Princess Pavillions for a very pleasant coffee and cake in the October sunshine. Red took us for a wander through the gardens where we sat on a bench and watched a little of the Zapcat racing before he got bored and ran off...

Back home for fajitas followed by family shovelling then last night's Strictly with the children and Peter Kaye's Tour that didn't Tour without them.
