Remembrance Day

A local bank lobby had this beautiful and enormous wreath of fresh flowers. It measured 6'x6' but the size does not translate in this photo. So very important that we pause and remember those who fought for our freedom and for the life we are very lucky to live. Today is the anniversary of the batyle and victory of Passchendaele. Quiet night at home after another crazy day - it was like every day was a full moon this week! I met a fitness instructor colleague for lunch and catch up, as we discovered her day job is a 5 minute walk through the underground PATH to my office. We enjoyed getting to know eachother better and found out we are very similar. Usually we only cross paths at the gym between teaching our classes. It was great to take the time to sit and visit properly. To bed very early as we are out the door at 4 a.m. so i can drive my sweetie to the USA to board a plane for 4 days in Denver with our eldest - father-son weekend, long overdue.
