Just spent £2.50 on a tin of brasso to polish my middle boy's swim trophies before handing them back tomorrow.

Here's hoping we can use that tin for cleaning more trophies in the future.

What a week. My poor childminder has had to be off most of the week because her kids have been ill. As a result I've been working badger type hours in order to get my work done and my hours in, before picking my littlest up from nursery.

You only need to look at the state of my house to see how well working from 6am for four days in a row has worked out.

Still, weekend tomorrow, and a long one at that.
