HEAVENLY DAY:

What an up & down week it has been. A day of rain, a day of wind & now a day of perfection. Truly, it doesn’t come any better than this. Stuff tells me it is 19*C. It is a never ending job dead heading rhodos & you can see by this Blip, several are still flowering. They’ve made a grand display, yet somehow not as good as last year. I am up in my top garden & the houses you see belong to the neighbours in Penrith. (It is all one garden really, but for simplicity I talk about the bottom - below the house; the middle between the house & the cottage, & the top - above the cottage. All in all, four acres ).
