Nuthatch

We didn't go out until the afternoon, but the sun was out and although it was very cold it was a beautiful day. I seem to be  posting lots of bird shots recently but I'v enjoyed being able to go to the hide again after so long away from it.  There was a pair of Nuthatch today playing where I should have got a good shot but I didn't focus fast enough and although I captured them both together the shots aren't sharp.  I liked this one - even though I don't generally like to capture birds on the feeder if I can help it; having the brush pile made a nice  backdrop.
