The colours

Today been Remembrance Day and it falling on a day when I was not working I took a trip into town and took a few shots of the remembrance day service held at the war memorial. It was very packed so wasn't able to get to close. I managed a couple of shots above the heads of the crowd this shot shows the lowering of the colours while the last post was played.

Afterwards I took a trip to visit my Mum to have a catch up with her. This afternoon a trip over to Metheringham to pick Julie up followed by a spot of sport on TV. Tonight we will be catching up with some of the recorded TV programs and a couple of beers.
