They seemed to recognise him and were very interested in whatever he was feeding them, and yet they waited patiently and didn't go into a frenzy as with everyone else who came to feed the birds today (see extra).

I was feeling better today, which is just as well since I have to croak sing outside at a Remembrance Day service tomorrow, and it appears from the number of apologies on our choir Facebook page that the others are all dropping like flies from colds and flu and there may be very few of us there!
