The cormorants appear to be awaiting direction from the egret. There are a bunch more in the canal and another half dozen egrets. Easily a hundred birds, hanging out waiting for the fish to show up. Did you know cormorants make honking noises that make them sound like pigs? News to me. In other news, the fascist-in-chief assures that Mr. Putin swears he didn’t meddle in the last election. I’m learning all sorts of things today.
