The wooded hill of the Knock was a favourite walk when I used to stay with friends at Crieff so it was good to relive memories today as we sat eating our picnic at the viewpoint indicator.  In the distance just below the two birds are the snowy top of Ben Vorlich (985m high) about 16 miles away.  Even further away are the prominent peaks of Stob Binnean and Ben More (1174m) but much easier to see is the snow covered top of Ben Chonzie only 7 miles away.
