The "After" Picture (Saturday 11th November 2017)

As I mentioned in my previous blip, the stolen and recovered bronze pigs have been reinstalled at the mouth of Calne's glamorous Phelps Parade and were unveiled by the Mayor on Friday afternoon. I'd photographed the plinth with the pigs absent on 10th October. I waited until the following day to get a clear view of them for the "After" picture. It was a dismal grey and damp afternoon when I found them but a few people had stopped to admire the sculpture.

I think this is Ricky Nelson's band supporting Laura Lee (real name Alice Faye Perkins, from West Virginia) on this single, probably featuring Joe Maphis on lead guitar. I did have this already but played it from The Finbarr Rock'n'Roll Party Vol. 26.
