Young Writers

Every year the Rotary run a young writers competition. Last year Carys was one of three in her year picked to edit and 'up level' a big write to enter into the competition. This ended up being extra homework during half term (worth it as she was the winner in her year group). So I was relieved we didn't have to do it again this year. However she came out of school today with a big write to edit and up level for Thursday, one of three from her year to be selected. I know I should be pleased, but in reality it is just more homework.
