Pasta!

It was  a rather sunny and warm morning today, and the previously announced rain started only in the afternoon. It was an excellent opportunity to potter about - and visit unexplored corners of Florence. One such corner was a street market, where plenty of stuff was on sale, including gimcrackery, old books, salami, pork, cheese, clothes, shoes and fresh pasta (see photo). I bought myself a new novel by Elio Vittorini, as well as a book on my favourite Italian singer songwriter. All in all, good day.
