in the garden melted very quickly, but up on the hill it was icy, despite the warm sun. There are still some autumn colours.
I'm heading for Wyvis in the background and managed a walk, although it was cut short as the stepping stones were under water. Hats, gloves and winter gear worn, but could have done with crampons. Returned home to pack a winter sack.
