UP WITH THE LARK.

Was going to have lazy day today, but as it was dry and looked like there would be a sunrise, I decided to get up and head for the canal. Well it was beautiful and also there was absolutely nobody else there, so it was very peaceful, especially as there were no bikes. It has been a very cold day but got a lot of clearing up done in the garden, then my friend called in, which was lovely. Have now got my dine in for two from M&S in the oven, so looking forward to a nice meal.
Remembering my lovely Grandfather Company Sergeant Major Ramsay Ross who fought for the Canadian Expeditionary Force in France. He got most of his knee cap blown off, which probably saved his life.
My extra was the sun on the trees along the canal.
