November at its best

Wet and windy but mild. November at its best. Found a dry time window mid after afternoon to go for a run, otherwise stayed inside and enjoyed the open fire, our computers and good food. What is better that the smell of a roasted chicken (apologies to the vegetarians) for a full hour before savoring it with some aubergine and leek cubes and Morellino di Scansano 414.

Also I admit, the Christmas lights are up on the terrace (very subtle lights I swear) and switched on. It makes P. happy and the darkness less depressing. Black candles inside.
