Rich colour

Some of the hydrangea flowers have dried into these lovely rich colours, but others have just shrivelled. This one is so pretty I may cut it together with a few more to bring indoors.

We had lunch at the golf club today and I did wish I had my camera with me. The greens were striped with sun and shadow with a backdrop of Autumn beeches in all their glory. It was windy so the trees were shedding their leaves which were scurrying in the sunlight. I couldn't take my eyes off the magical scene. Why did I leave my camera at home!
